February: Three amazing groups of talented students from Elvis’s Music Shop!
Band #1 – Friday Night Lights
These guys have been playing together since elementary school! Still only in their early high school years, this trio already has more rehearsal and performance experience than most professionals. Ethan(guitar), Christian(drums), and Montgomery(guitar) who make up Friday Night Lights were previously known for their extraordinarily ability to deliver classic rock favorites to their fans with an unmistakably authentic sound have now shifted gears. For the better part of the last year this band has been painstakingly carving out a truly unique set of original songs that the world has yet to hear. This blend of heavy rock, blues, and funk that these boys are about to deliver will surely bring you into the light!
Band #2 – Hump Day
The core of this jazz group is made up of two young men with more wisdom and talent than most lifelong musicians. Still only in high school, Dominic on sax and Jeno on drums already seemed to have conquered their artform. Their eclectic blend of jazz in its various forms will most certainly keep the audience guessing. Their ability to masterfully improvise on their instruments in the moment will only leave the audience wanting more. No longer will we look forward to the weekend when we have Hump Day!
Band #3 – Hot Mess
The name says it all. This grunge cover band is not for the faint of heart. Adrianna(guitar/vocals), Aj(drums), and Ivan(guitar) are a trio of highschoolers who have followed in the footsteps of some of the greatest heavy rock artists to come out of the 90’s and early 2000s. Their ability to recreate hits from this era has truly brought life and vitality back into the genre, influencing similar youth to rediscover a piece of this past. You have heard it before on the radio but never quite like this. Tune in and turn it up. Get ready for a Hot Mess.
