New E-Bike Sharing Program Offers a New Way to Get Around Tradition
Tradition’s e-bike sharing program is officially live! To celebrate, we invited members of the community to join us on Sunday, Jan. 15 for a free, family friendly event.
The sharing program expands our wellness offerings, allowing residents to rent e-bikes at Town Square and Talk-in-the-Park. Both locations are equipped with charging stations and we plan to add additional locations around the community. Tradition residents can download a smartphone app, allowing them to find, unlock, ride, and return e-bikes, as well as access an updated map of the community for easy navigation.
The January event kicked off with a seven-mile bike ride throughout Tradition. Guests then enjoyed impressive bike stunt and freestyle-trick performances by the BMX Trickstars, featuring X-Games medalist Rob Nolli, along with refreshments, a variety of local health and wellness vendors and a DJ. During the event, we matched donations to the Boys & Girls Club of St. Lucie. Along with our partner, Sprockets Bikes, we were able to donate 13 bikes and bike helmets to the organization, all thanks to your valuable donations.
“Launching this e-bike sharing program was a natural fit for the Tradition lifestyle. It’s a great way for residents to implement wellness into their routine and enjoy the community’s extensive T-Trail,” said Dan Grosswald, President of Mattamy’s Southeast Florida Division. “We’re thrilled to offer this program and know it will create more opportunities for residents to enjoy being active and outdoors with their families, friends and neighbors.”
