About Joe O’Connell, creator of Stars And Stripes Park

Joseph O’Connell of Tucson, Arizona originally founded Creative Machines in 1995 as a studio to support his creative practice. His award-winning artwork includes elaborate installations of shape, color, light and motion — including sculptures commissioned for special sites all around the world. He is assisted by his capable team with diverse backgrounds in art, architecture, engineering and custom fabrication.
