DESCRIPTION:This event was rescheduled due to inclement weather on 12/16! \nIt’s all in moderation!\nIn this special class on nutrition basics, kids will learn about food through some hands-on activities. We will learn what good nutrition is, why good nutrition is important, and identify the five food groups and a balanced diet through a game. For ages 5-11. \nThis class comes from our Little Nutrition School program. This class is open to the public and will be held at Tradition Square at the Gazebo. This pop-up class will be capped at 24 registrations.\nRegistration is required. We learn about real medical skills, procedures, and subjects in our programs. Meaning kids feel empowered and inspired after they finish their time with us.\nOur after school programs and summer camps begin with a white coat ceremony and end with an informal graduation ceremony. Kids will go home with models, tools, and more!\nEach of our programs are taught by trained and dedicated individuals, most of which are retired educators, retired healthcare professionals, and pre-med students.\n
